She recently revealed that she will be taking a break from acting to recover from the illness. At the event, Vijay Deverakonda praised Samantha’s dedication and revealed that he has always admired the actress.

He said, “When I saw Em Maya Chesave and all her other films, I admired her. It was like when you have a crush on an actress and when you love an actress on screen. The trailer launch event was held in Hyderabad. Samantha and Vijay reunite for ‘Kushi’ after their 2018 film ‘Mahanati’. ‘Kushi’ is an inter-religious love story. The 2 minute, 41 second trailer introduces the love story of Vikram (Vijay) and Aaradhya (Samantha).
‘Kushi’ is directed by Shiv Nirvana and also stars Jairam, Sachin Khedekar, Murli Sharma, Vennela Kishore, Lakshmi, Rohini, Ali and Rahul Ramakrishna in pivotal roles. The film is produced by Mythri Makers and will release on September 1.
