Lead actors Timothee Chalamey and Zendaya share their experience with Dune Part Two

New Delhi. Award-winning filmmaker Dennis Velenov’s film ‘Dune: Part Two’ has been much-awaited since its inception. It is the next chapter in Frank Herbert’s acclaimed novel Dune, starring an expanded and powerful all-star international cast. This 2021 film from Warner Bros. Pictures and Legendary Pictures tells the next story of six-time Academy Award winner ‘Dune’, which the audience has been waiting for for a long time.

When Denis Velanov was asked about working with lead actor Timothée Chalamey again, he said that this is the first experience in my life as a director that I have worked with an actor who is very good in front of the camera. Growing up, developing and learning about aspects of life. It was really inspiring for me to work with Timothy again, because I found him much more convincing this time.

In ‘Part One’, Timothy was really learning how to focus as a leading man in such a large production. And in the second part, he has managed to bring this feeling strongly on the set. I am very proud of the powerful change he has brought about in front of the camera this time. It was a very emotional moment for me to see how in ‘Part Two’ they weaved the development of Paul Atreides, taking a boy to an evil personality.

After Timothy, he was next asked about the talented Zendaya. Talking about reuniting with her and seeing her play the role of Chaani, Velanv says, Working with Zendaya was one of the aspects I was most looking forward to in ‘Part Two’, Because I had already decided to present Zendaya’s character as a great glimpse in ‘Part One’.

So, I was looking forward to spending more time getting to know Chani in depth and bringing her character to life even more, and it was truly a blessing to be able to work closely on it. I loved working with Zendaya. She is a stunning, stunning and incredible actress who has the knack of delivering a flood of emotions with very little effort. His acting is very precise, which is the most wonderful gift he has received from nature.

When asked about what the audience can expect from ‘Dune: Part Two’, he said, I hope the audience will be touched by the relationship between Paul and Chani. ‘Part Two’ is basically a love story. And I hope the audience will have a joyful and dangerous experience in this journey before the Sandworms (giant fictional creatures that live on the desert planet Arrakis). This chess game between Paul and the Fremen, and the Harkonnens and the Imperium becomes a hardcore battle and game of wits. The fight scenes in the film are quite amazing.

Additionally, every element in ‘Dune: Part Two’ has been designed to provide the audience with the ultimate cinematic experience with the big screen and stunning sound. I believe this is the most unique way to enjoy movies.

‘Dune: Part Two’ will highlight the legendary journey of Paul Atreides as he joins forces with Chaney and Freeman to seek revenge against the conspirators who destroyed his family. He faces a situation in which he has to choose between his love and destiny. So, he sets out to try to prevent a horrifying future that he can only imagine.

‘Dune: Part Two’ is all set to release in theaters on March 1, 2024 in English and Hindi language. At the same time, it will be released a day earlier i.e. on 29th February in IMAX Cinemas.
