New Delhi. The audience has always seen actress Khushi Dubey in suit-salwar and traditional wear. But, now her character ‘Chikki’ in ‘Aashiqana Season 4’ is inspired by Nancy Rue’s novel. In which she is seen wearing trendy clothes and shoes.

Talking about her look on the show, Khushi said, “My look this season is a fusion. It has western dresses, boots and super cool look that we saw in Nancy novels.”

Nancy is an American novelist best known for the ‘Lily Series’ of novels featuring 12-year-old Lily Robbins. She is also known for Sophie series.

Elaborating on her look, Khushi said, “We have kept it elegant and smart and have used a bit of English in it. It is simple yet glamorous. The look and feel is just like any other spy look, smart casual and sexy.”

The story juxtaposes the customs of the modern world and the old world. This suspenseful tale stars Zain Ibad Khan (as Yash), and Khushi (as Chikki) in the lead roles.

It also stars veteran actress Himani Shivpuri along with Jayati Narula, Indrajit Modi and Geeta Tyagi in key roles.

Talking about the season, Zain shared that “People have always had different opinions about paranormal activities. Some find it to be fact, some find it to be science. While ‘Aashiqana’ has always been a journey full of thrills and mysteries, this season sees Yash and Chikki getting caught in one such incident.

He further added, “Yash is shown in a completely different look as he draws a connection between the modern world and age-old customs, leaving the audience with thoughts and questions.”

Series director Gul Khan said that “with each growing season of ‘Aashiqana’, we have received immense love and appreciation for the show, which has helped us to introduce new characters and new storylines.” “This season is riddled with many deep mysteries,” Gul said.
