The spokesperson told that Dev Kohli was admitted to Kokilaben Ambani Hospital for the last few months. His health was not good and he died in his sleep on the morning of Saturday 26th August. The sudden demise of Dev Kohli has shocked the entire Bollywood.
Dev Kohli wrote the song ‘Yeh Kali Kali Aankhen’
In his career, he wrote more than 100 songs in many hit films. These include films like ‘Maine Pyar Kiya’ and ‘Shootout at Lokhandwala’. Blockbuster songs like ‘Yeh Kali Kali Aankhen’, ‘Mai Ne Mai Munder Pe Teri’ and ‘O Saki Saki’ came from the pen of Dev Kohli. The last film he wrote songs for was Kangana Ranaut’s ‘Rajjo’. The music of this film was given by Uttam Singh, the composer of ‘Gadar: Ek Prem Katha’.
Death of these celebs in a few days
Dev Kohli collaborated with Anu Malik, Anand Raj Anand, Ram Laxman and Anand Milind to give many blockbuster songs. It is being said that many more celebs including Uttam Singh, Anu Malik and Anand Raj Anand may be present at his funeral. Three-four celebs have died in the last few days. These include the names of actress Seema Dev, film editor Sanjay Verma, Haryanvi singer Raju Punjabi and Marathi actor Milind Safai.
