Madgaon Express: Film reaches Rs 15 crore in 7 days

Kunal Khemu’s directorial debut ‘Margao Express’ is steadily moving towards earning Rs 15 crore. On the 7th day, the film earned Rs 13.5 crore at the box office. The film stars Divyendu, Pratik Gandhi and Avinash Tiwari in lead roles.

Kunal Kemmu’s ‘Margao Express’ earned Rs 1.2 crore on its seventh day. The film earned the same amount on the sixth day. Now the total earning has reached Rs 13.5 crore. The film got an overall occupancy of 12.64 percent in the Hindi belt. This film had a box office clash with Randeep Hooda’s ‘Swatantrya Veer Savarkar’.

Kunal, who recently turned director with ‘Madgaon Express’, expressed his gratitude towards the crew and fans for liking the film.

He shared some of his behind-the-scenes (BTS) pictures and wrote, “From the first day of shooting to the day I said last pack up on the sets of Margao Express. Every day has been very special and I owe it to the actors and Couldn’t have done it without my amazing team of technicians.”

Directed by Kunal Khemu and produced by Excel Entertainment (owned by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar), ‘Margao Express’ is about three childhood friends who take a trip to Goa and take an unexpected turn. It released on March 22, 2024, promising audiences a heartwarming journey. The film also stars Nora Fatehi, Upendra Limaye and Chhaya Kadam in lead roles.
