Ajay Devgan’s film Maidan is already releasing after a lot of delay and now when the release date has come, the film is again stuck in new trouble. Actually, a writer from Karnataka has accused this film directed by Amit Sharma of plagiarism. After this, the Chief District and Sessions Court of Mysore has ruled to stop the release of the Ajay Devgan starrer film till the dispute is resolved.

According to the report of News 18, the author said, ‘I started writing the story in 2010 and in 2018 I posted a poster regarding it. After this, I got a contract with AD Director Sukhdas Suryavanshi from my LinkedIn post. He called me to Bombay and asked me to bring the script also. I have complete chat history. He told me that he would introduce me to Aamir Khan, but for some reason I could not meet him. I gave him the story and got it registered with the Screen Writers Association.

He further said, ‘Recently I heard that the film Maidan is coming. I was surprised because this is my story. When I heard the teaser and their statements, I knew this was my story. They have twisted the main story a bit.

About Maidaan, apart from Ajay Devgan, Priyamani and Gajraj Rao are in lead roles. The film depicts the story of Syed Abdul Rahim, who was India’s football coach from 1952-1962. Boney Kapoor is the producer of the film. By the way, let us tell you that this film is in conflict with Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff’s film Bade Miyan Chhote Miyan which is released on April 11.
