Milk (full cream) – one and a half liter
Grated coconut – 3 tbsp
Chopped almonds – 10
Pistachios chopped – 2 tsp
Cardamom powder – 2 tsp
Sugar – as per taste
First of all take the sesame seeds and clean them. After this, add sesame seeds in the pan and fry them on low flame. Roast the sesame seeds until their color turns light pink and the sesame starts crackling. After this, turn off the gas and let the sesame seeds cool down. After the sesame seeds cool down, crush them and grind them coarsely. Pour milk in a big vessel and keep it to heat on medium flame.
It will take 7-8 minutes for the milk to heat up. When the milk starts boiling, add crushed sesame seeds to it and mix it with the help of a ladle. After this, grate the coconut and add it to the kheer. Then cut dry fruits and mix them in kheer. After cooking the kheer for 2-3 minutes, mix sugar in it as per taste. After adding sugar, cover the kheer and cook it for at least 6-7 minutes. During this time, keep stirring the kheer with the help of a ladle or a big spoon. Then turn off the gas. Sesame kheer is ready. To serve, put it in a bowl and sprinkle pistachio slivers on top and serve.
