When asked more about Hanuman’s dialogue during the ‘Lanka Dahan’ sequence, Muntashir said, ‘How do we all know Ramayana? We have a tradition of storytelling, we read but also listen to stories. Ramayana is such a book that we have been listening to since childhood, it is Akhand Ramayana, it is recitation and many more. I come from a small village, where our grandmother used to tell us the stories of Ramayana in this language. One more thing, the dialogue that you have just mentioned has been used by the biggest saints and storytellers of our country in the same way as I have written (in Adipurush). I am not the first person to write this dialogue, it is already there.

Manoj Muntashir also told in conversation with ‘Aaj Tak’ that he has not made Ramayana. The film is inspired by that. He says, ‘Ramayana was written 7500 years ago. But why did Tulsidas write it in Awadhi language 400 years ago? Because everyone has their own way of saying. Same is the case with reciting Ramayana. To make it reach the people, it is an attempt to talk about it in contemporary language. If the younger generation does not understand this language, then they will respect but will not be able to connect. That’s why these dialogues are written like this. Like today’s youth talk.
