Thiruvananthapuram: Filmmaker Adoor Gopalakrishnan on Friday said that many people in the film industry do not speak out for fear of the Enforcement Directorate, but he is not afraid to speak out. He has directed a dozen feature films. He has received the National Film Award 16 times, the Kerala State Award 17 times and several international awards and has also won the Dadasaheb Phalke Award in 2004. He was awarded the Padma Shri in 1984 and the Padma Vibhushan in 2006. His last feature film was Pinnium in 2016.
