On his divorce with wife Aditi, Vikram Bhatt said that the 1920 director revealed that it was his romantic relationship with Sushmita that ended his marriage with his childhood sweetheart Aditi. When Bhatt was asked if he had any regrets, he said, “I don’t regret anything in my life, not one thing, not one mistake.”

He further added, “I have made mistakes, a lot of mistakes, but I have learned from them, perhaps there is still a lot to learn, but this is my only journey.”

The filmmaker also revealed that he had called both Sushmita and Ameesha to apologise. They said “I had made these phone calls long ago. That’s why I had gone to Bhatt sahab (Mahesh Bhatt), who was a part of the phone calls. But Sushmita, Ameesha… see, these are the relationships about which Press talked about but these are not the only relationships. I have other relationships too, there were others who came into my life and today there is nothing incomplete in my mind. I feel complete.
