Merry Christmas Box Office Report: Slow start for Katrina Kaif and Vijay Sethupathi’s film

Katrina Kaif and Vijay Sethupathi’s much-awaited suspense thriller, Merry Christmas, finally released in theaters on January 12. The film received positive reviews from the audience as well as film critics. However, Merry Christmas failed to take off at the box office on its opening day. According to Sacknilk, the film directed by Sriram Raghavan earned only Rs 2.55 crore on the first day and saw around 11.56 percent occupancy. Friday saw better occupancy levels for the Tamil and Telugu versions of the film.
