Mia Khalifa had to support Palestinians heavily! Thrown out of podcast show by saying ‘Madam, become a better person’

Mia Khalifa has been dropped from her podcast deal with Canadian radio host and podcaster Todd Shapiro after her controversial comments on the Israel-Hamas war sparked outrage. Khalifa’s comments on the war, which were shared on X, were widely criticized for being an insensitive post.

In his controversial post Khalifa said, “If you cannot side with the Palestinians given the situation, then you are on the wrong side of apartheid, and history will prove this over time.” He also urged Palestinian freedom fighters to document their experiences horizontally in another post.

Shapiro quickly responded to Mila Khalifa’s post, expressing her disgust and immediately ending her participation in the podcast. He described her tweet as “disgusting” and called on her to strive for personal growth and better humanity.

Shapiro wrote in response, “This is such a horrible tweet, Mia Khalifa. This is absolutely disgusting. Beyond disgusting. Please grow up and be a better person. The fact that you condone death, rape, beatings and other things. Taking hostages is truly disgusting. No words can explain your ignorance.

Khalifa’s post sparked outrage among social media users, who condemned his insensitive stance on the Israel–Palestine conflict. Some users predicted that her post would not go down well, while others pointed to atrocities committed by people she referred to as “freedom fighters”.

In response to the backlash, Khalifa clarified that his statement did not incite violence in any way. He defended the use of the term “freedom fighters” to describe Palestinian civilians, saying that it accurately represented their struggle. The ongoing conflict between Israel and Palestine has resulted in approximately 1,600 casualties on both sides.
