Akshay Kumar’s latest offering Mission Raniganj: The Great Bharat Rescue has taken a slow start at the box office. According to Sacnilk.com, the film was released in theaters on October 5 along with Bhumi Pednekar-starrer Thank You for Coming and earned just Rs 2.8 crore on the first day. However, business is expected to pick up on Saturday and Sunday and the film may get the expected boost. The film has received mostly positive reviews from film critics and moviegoers who watched it on Friday.
Mission Raniganj is Akshay’s third release of 2023 after Selfie and OMG 2. Where Selfie failed to impress the audience and flopped at the box office, OMG 2 performed well and grossed big despite the fact that it was released along with Gadar 2 and after several cuts.
Mission Raniganj Review
Akshay Kumar does not look like Akshay Kumar at all in this film. He has worked hard on the character. Everything from look to language is different. Looking at Akshay Kumar’s character in this film, it would not be wrong to say that now Akshay is leaving aside the obsession of box office and focusing on choosing legitimate stories.
