Mohammad Nabi became the top ODI all-rounder

Dubai . Afghanistan all-rounder Mohammad Nabi on Wednesday became the top all-rounder in the ICC ODI rankings. He overtook Shakib Al Hasan to become the first in the ICC ODI all-rounder rankings. Shakib had been occupying this position for more than five years.
Shakib has not played an ODI since the ODI World Cup last year and has also been ruled out of the upcoming ODI series against Sri Lanka due to an eye problem. Although Shakib has been seen playing in BPL.
Nabi has secured the first position after playing an inning of 136 runs in the first match of the ODI series against Sri Lanka. Nabi also took a wicket in that match, after which he has jumped one place to seventh place in the ICC bowling rankings in ODIs.
South Africa’s left-arm spinner Keshav Maharaj is at the first position as a bowler in ODIs. In batting, Charith Asalanka has jumped five places and has now reached 15th position. Asalanka had played an innings of 97 runs against Afghanistan in the second ODI while Pathum Nissanka has also jumped 10 places to 18th position. Nissanka had played an unbeaten inning of 210 runs against Afghanistan in the first ODI.
