The travel and hospitality sector of the country is growing rapidly. In such a report, it has been said that the intention to appoint new people (freshers) in this sector is expected to increase by 15 percent in the second half of the current year.

According to TeamLease Azteca’s ‘Career Outlook Report Second Half’, hiring intentions in the travel and hospitality sector are at 15 per cent for the July-December period. In the first half it was 10 percent. The report says that there are five such roles in this field where new people are likely to get jobs. These include roles as food and beverage (F&B) associate, travel consultant, event coordinator, junior chef and business development executive.

Shantanu Rooj, Founder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO), TeamLease Aztech, said, “Our report highlights the ever-changing landscape for new entrants. There are bright prospects for newcomers in the travel and hospitality sector. We are committed to empowering young professionals with the knowledge and skills needed to thrive in these roles.” The report is based on a survey among 737 small, medium and large companies across 18 industries in 14 geographical regions of the country. These include metropolitan cities, first and second tier cities.

There will be more demand for freshers in these roles

It has been said in the report that there are five such roles in this sector where freshers are likely to get jobs (Job For Freshers). These include the roles of Food and Beverage (F&B) Associate, Travel Consultant, Event Co-ordinator, Junior Chef and Business Development Executive.
