Mumbai Filmmaker S.S. Rajamouli’s film ‘RRR’ has been viewed more than one million times in Japan. The Ram Charan and NTR Jr-starrer film released in October last year. The official Twitter handle of RRR Movie shared the news of the film crossing 1 million footfalls in 164 days of its theatrical run.
It has become the first Indian film to register more than one million footfalls in Japan.

The song ‘Naatu Naatu’ from ‘RRR’ was awarded the 95th Oscar Award in the Original Song category. It also won the Golden Globe and Critics’ Choice Awards.
‘RRR’ also stars Ajay Devgn, Alia Bhatt and Shriya Saran. It tells the fictional story of two real-life Indian revolutionaries Alluri Sitarama Raju and Komaram Bheem and their fight against the British Raj.(IANS)
