Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) officials gave this information. The TV show’s production house ‘Cakro Entertainment Shaika Films’ said in a statement that the “cast and crew” of the show are safe.
A Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation official said the blaze started at around 4.30 pm on the ground floor of the studio spread over 2,000 square feet and soon spread to three adjoining sets. The serial was being shot in this studio itself. The plume of black smoke coming out of the studio can be seen from a distance. At least 12 fire tenders were sent to the spot, the official said.
