New Delhi . Bangladesh fast bowler Mustafizur Rahman is expected to miss CSK’s upcoming match in IPL 2024. According to reports, he has gone back to his country to process his US visa for the T20 World Cup 2024.

The T20 World Cup will begin on June 1, immediately after the IPL final in Chennai on May 26.

A report in Cricbuzz states that CSK will face Sunrisers Hyderabad in their away match on Friday and Mustafizur is expected to return on Sunday or Monday, although this will depend on when he gets his passport back.

A report quoted BCB Cricket Operations President Jalal Younis as saying, “Mustafizur returned from the IPL on Tuesday night for a US visa. He will give his fingerprints at the US Embassy tomorrow (April 4) and will later be allowed to join CSK.” Will return to India for this.”

The report also states that the left-arm fast bowler will be available to play in the IPL only till the end of April, as he is scheduled to join the national team ahead of the five-match T20 series against Zimbabwe starting on May 3. .
