Naatu-Naatu Song: At the Oscars 2023, India created history by winning two big awards. Where the song ‘Naatu Naatu’ from SS Rajamouli’s film RRR received the award in the Best Original Song category. Song choreographed in 2 months

Prem Rakshit had said in an interview that it was great to work with South Superstars Junior NTR and Ram Charan. If both were together, then the song was also to be tremendous and bang. That’s why thought that some different steps should be done with them. It took almost two months to choreograph Natu-Natu. I prepared 110 moves for the stars. It was very important to match the energy of both, for this we worked hard day and night and kept rehearsals.

The song was shot after 43 retakes.

Talking about the retake of the song, Prem said that it took 20 days to shoot this blockbuster song and it took 43 retakes, then perfection was achieved. Jr NTR, Ram Charan and others stayed in Kiev for two weeks for the shoot. During an interview to Vijay Television, Jr. NTR complained that he and Ram Charan had to practice the hook step of the song for several days. Both had profuse sweat. Arvind Sametha jokingly said that Rajamouli had tortured both of them a lot during the shooting of the song.
