The bench had asked advocate Siddiqui to inform the court about the decision regarding the education of the children. The advocate informed the court on Friday that he had made inquiries about four schools in Mumbai and had also contacted the school in Dubai to ascertain whether online schooling could be an option. Siddiqui said that the Dubai school has given consent.

He further said that his client’s condition was such that she and the children were thrown out of the house with Rs 81 and that was all she had. According to Siddiqui, the estranged wife and children were currently living with a relative. While Siddiqui said the younger child was too young to say anything, the 12-year-old daughter said she did not want to meet the actor.

The bench asked all these details to be included in the affidavit and gave Siddiqui a week’s time to file a reply. The actor’s petition in the high court sought that both the children be produced and full custody be given to them so that they can resume their education.
