Nawazuddin’s wife accuses him of rape, files police complaint with evidence (Lead 1)

Mumbai | Aaliya Siddiqui, wife of Bollywood actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui, on Friday filed a complaint of alleged rape against her husband at the Versova police station. Aaliya, who gave a divorce notice to Nawazuddin Siddiqui in the year 2021, has herself announced this on her Instagram account, though the police officials refused to comment.

Aaliya said in the video post that on Thursday lodged a complaint of rape with evidence against him at Versova police station. Aaliya said, come what may, I will not let my innocent children fall into their cruel hands.

As per reports, Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Aaliya got married in the year 2009. The couple has been hitting headlines for the past few weeks accusing each other of various domestic and personal issues. The couple has two children, daughter Shora and son Yani.

In January 2022, Nawazuddin’s mother filed a police complaint against Alia for allegedly barging into the actor’s house and she (Alia) filed a counter-complaint against her mother-in-law alleging domestic violence.

This time Aaliya termed her mother-in-law as heartless and alleged that she called my innocent child illegitimate, Nawazuddin remained silent on this.

Aaliya reprimands Nawazuddin for seeking custody of the kids, replying that he never experienced the happiness of kids, he didn’t even know how to wear diapers, he doesn’t even know when our kids are grown up. And now he is trying to prove that he is a good father by ‘stealing’ the kids from me.

Aaliya argued that she had always considered Nawazuddin as her husband, but he never accepted her as his wife, although she had given him the most important years of his life.

Aaliya alleges that Nawazuddin has made her weak from all sides. But he has full faith in the courts and the law and expressed confidence that the verdict will be in his favour.(IANS)
