Neena Gupta’s honesty affects me: Jackie Shroff

Mumbai . Actor Jackie Shroff is going to be seen in the upcoming film ‘Mast Mein Rahne Ka’. He told that both the film’s co-stars Neena Gupta and I come from very different schools of acting and their honesty impacts him.

‘Mast Mein Rehne Ka’ is a streaming film written and directed by Vijay Maurya. Jackie and Neena were last seen eight years ago in a short film ‘Khujli’, which explored the secret desires and hidden fantasies of a middle-aged couple.

In an era where everyone’s focus is on budding actors, these two veterans have managed to enthrall the audience with their on-screen chemistry.

Talking about working with Neena, Jackie said, “We come from two different schools of learning. He is from National School of Drama. He is a respected and respected artiste while I learned my craft on the sets.

He said, “So definitely opposites attract, I learn from her and I don’t know if she can learn something from me or not, but, her honesty impresses me. But when we come together on screen we have a great understanding of each other. I think our chemistry blends beautifully and the audience feels it too.”

‘Mast Mein Rehne Ka’, is produced under the banner of Made In Maurya, and is based on the universal themes of love and second chances in life, forgiveness and redemption. The story is a poignant odyssey, reflecting the profound realization that life is a treasure.

Nina said that she and Jackie are getting back together after many years. He said, “After ‘Khujli’, there was a fifteen-minute film that everyone liked, at least whoever could see it. We had a lot of fun doing this and we had even more fun doing ‘Mast Mein Rahen Ka’.

He said, “Jackie and I are very comfortable with each other. We know how to improvise, we laugh and eat together. Honestly, it was so much fun working with him on this film, and I look forward to being involved in more entertaining projects with such a kind and wonderful person. It really adds to the whole experience.”

‘Mast Mein Rahne Ka’ also stars Monica Panwar, Abhishek Chauhan, Rakhi Sawant and Faisal Malik in lead roles. This film will be released on Prime Video on December 8.
