Could not feed daughter for 20 days
Neha Marda kept her opinion even after being away from her daughter for 20 days. He said, ‘I had to stay away from him for the first 20 days. I was not allowed to take her in my arms. I could just go, meet her, see her but I couldn’t hold her in my arms. I had to express my milk and send it to him. I was not allowed to feed him directly. She was in NICU and by the grace of God she made a full recovery after going through each and every step of the treatment. She is a premature baby and she was seven and a half months old. She had to go through some tests in which she passed all the tests by the grace of God.
When the daughter was picked up for the first time
Neha Marda further said, ‘I remember when I took her in my lap for the first time after bringing her home from the hospital. It was a very different feeling. I couldn’t quite explain what I was feeling. It is very difficult to express. I felt that she was always mine and that I had something that was going to be mine. I just noticed that she is very cute and small. I thought she was always mine because she was inside me for seven and a half months. I did not feel over the top because I am a less reactive person.
Neha Marda drinks milk 5 times a day
Neha Marda also told her diet what she is eating. She told, ‘I ate a lot while becoming a mother. But now I don’t know whether I should stop eating all that or not. Because if it is stopped then it may not affect my body. I am eating sago kheer, makhana, lentils, gond laddoos. I am eating a lot of things these days which I do not like. I drink milk by filling the jar five times. Right now my project is my baby. As long as I can I want to feed her. I would like to say that those who are able to feed should not decide not to feed. Because this is the time when you can boost your child’s immunity the most. If you can feed your baby till one year then it will be a bonus point for the whole life. If you are not getting milk then it is not your fault.
Will not go to gym to lose weight
Neha Marda said that she has not yet thought of losing weight. She will soon start doing meditation and yoga. However, she will not do it to look slim or to lose weight. Because at this time the child needs them. According to her, ‘I cannot go on any crash diet till the time I am feeding. I will not do gymming or hardcore dieting. Anyway after delivery my weight has come down a lot immediately. It will go away on its own. People say this but I don’t know how true it is but the more the baby breastfeeds, the easier it is for the mother to lose weight.’
