The documentary will uncover the many layers of the sensational murder of Sheena Bora and the subsequent arrest of Indrani Mukherjee, Bora’s sister and a former media organization executive. Mukherjee and her husband, media businessman Peter Mukherjee, were arrested in 2015.
Mumbai Netflix is all set to release the documentary “The Indrani Mukherjee Story: Buried Truth” on February 23. ‘Over the Top’ (OTT) content provider Netflix has tied up with ‘MakeMake’ and ‘India Today Group’ for this documentary. The documentary will uncover the many layers of the sensational murder of Sheena Bora and the subsequent arrest of Indrani Mukherjee, Bora’s sister and a former media organization executive. Mukherjee and her husband, media businessman Peter Mukherjee, were arrested in 2015. The documentary series follows Indrani Mukherjee, her children Vidhi Mukherjee and Mikhail Bora, veteran journalists and lawyers and explores the complexities of family relationships and the circumstances that arise from them, Netflix said in a release. This documentary is directed by Shana Levy and Uraz Bahl. Produced by Terry Leonard.
