New Delhi: Netflix’s series “Scoop” and its lead star Karishma Tanna swept the Asia Content Awards and Global OTT Awards 2023 in Busan, South Korea on Sunday. According to the awards’ official website, the Asia Content Awards and Global OTT Awards is an annual event to honor outstanding content created for TV, OTT and online across Asia. It is organized by the Busan International Film Festival (BIFF) and the Korea Radio Promotion Association in Busan.
“Scoop” won the Best Asian TV Series award, while Tanna, who also attended the awards ceremony, took home the Best Lead Actress trophy. BIFF shared the announcement on ‘X’ (formerly Twitter).

The Asia Content Awards and Global OTT Awards were held during the 2023 Busan International Film Festival on October 8 at the BIFF Theatre, Busan Cinema Center. This festival is being organized from October 4 to October 13.
