Mumbai Bollywood actress Kajol (48) says writing lots of letters, sending lots of messages or just knocking on someone’s door is no longer love, now love has changed and the current cinema is reflecting it. Now love has changed and cinema is reflecting it, Kajol told PTI in an interview. In the 1990s if someone wrote you 15 letters or knocked ten times (at your door) or texted you several times, it was considered obsession, but now it is considered foolish to pursue someone like that. The actress will be next seen in Lust Stories 2.

He said, while working on a subject like Lust Stories, it is important for an artist to be comfortable and trust the team. She further added, “As an actress, if you are not comfortable with the subject, then don’t do those films, rather choose films that you can do.” That’s what I do. Like, is it manageable? Can I talk to the director and make myself comfortable to do so? Again, if you are comfortable with it then it is all about trust.

Produced by Screwvala and Ashi Dua, Lust Stories 2 also stars Kajol, Amrita Subhash, Angad Bedi, Mrunal Thakur, Neena Gupta, Tamannaah Bhatia, Tilottama Shome and Vijay Verma. The other three short films in the anthology are directed by R Balki, Konkona Sen Sharma and Sujoy Ghosh. Lust Stories 2 will premiere on 29th June on OTT platform Netflix.
