Akshay Kumar did not charge any fees for the film OMG 2. Viacom 18 COO Ajit Andhare revealed that Akshay Kumar did not take any money for his role in OMG 2. Ajith had told Pinkvilla, “Akshay didn’t take a single rupee in fees and walked with us in both the financial and creative risks involved in such a daring film. Since OMG, ‘Special 26’ and Toilet: Ek Prem Katha As a studio we share a long history and understanding with them. I have been completely on board with them in taking on scripts that are unconventional but stand for something big and meaningful.”

Teaser of the film ‘Sky Force’ released

Yesterday, on Gandhi Jayanti, the teaser of Akshay Kumar starrer film ‘Sky Force’ was released. The film is set during the reign of former Prime Minister Lal Bahadur Shastri. ‘Sky Force’ is an untold true story about the bravery, spirit and patriotism of those soldiers who, against all odds, participated in India’s first and most deadly air strike against Pakistan. ‘Sky Force’ is produced by Dinesh Vijan and Jyoti Deshpande. Sara Ali Khan and Nimrat Kaur are also reportedly part of the film’s cast. This film is going to be released on the big screen on 2 October 2024.

Akshay Kumar’s upcoming movies

Talking about Akshay Kumar’s upcoming films, the actor will be seen with Tiger Shroff in Bade Miyan Chhote Miyan. The film will be released in Eid 2024. After his blockbuster hit, War with Hrithik Roshan, Tiger Shroff has paired up with Akshay Kumar for Bade Miyan Chhote Miyan. Both will be seen doing tremendous action sequences in the film. Miyan is a remake of 1998’s Chhote Miyan. Apart from this, he will also be seen in No Hera Pheri 3, Welcome to the Jungle.
