This fan following was seen 19 years ago i.e. in 2004. Then Junior NTR’s film ‘Andhra Wala’ was released. The audio release event was held before the release of the film. Junior NTR, no one had any idea that a crowd of lakhs would reach the event. Junior NTR told about this in ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’.
10 lakh fans reached, 10 special trains run
Jr NTR had said that around 10 lakh fans had turned up at the audio launch event of his film to see him. Then the government had to run 10 special trains separately for the fans. According to the actor, the good thing was that there was neither any scuffle nor any accident or stampede then. Jr NTR himself was surprised that such a huge crowd of fans had gathered for him. However, in 2015, a fan died during the event of a Jr NTR film. Since then Junior NTR took the responsibility of that fan’s family on himself.
Debut from child artist, the film got the National Award
Junior NTR started his acting career as a child artist. Then he was 8 years old. At the age of eight, Junior NTR acted in Dada’s film ‘Brahmarshi Vishwamitra’. After this he was seen in the role of Ram in the film ‘Ramayanam’. The film won the National Award for Best Children’s Film.
RRR made Pan India star
On growing up, Junior NTR acted in the film Ninnu Choodalani in 2001. In all these years, Junior NTR had made a tremendous fan following. It was only in 2001 that Junior NTR’s ‘Student No. 1’ was released, making him a star. After this the actor did films like ‘Aadi’, ‘Simhadri’, ‘Badshah’, Nannaku Prematho, ‘Jai Luv Kush’ and Aravinda Sametha Veera Raghava. RRR made him a pan India star. His and Ram Charan’s energetic dance in the song ‘Nacho Nacho’ from this film was well received. This song also won the Oscar Award.
