The week of Diwali is going to be very special for the audience. Abhishek Bachchan-starrer ‘Ghoomar’ is going to be released on the OTT platform. ‘Ghoomar’ will be released on 10 November 2023 on ZEE5.
‘Ghoomar’ may not have performed well in theatres, but it received good reviews from Bollywood celebs and critics. ‘Ghoomar’ revolves around Anina, a young batsman who loses her right hand in an accident.
Abhishek Bachchan is seen in the role of Sayami Kher’s coach in ‘Ghoomar’. Regarding the film, he had said, “I have never seen ‘Ghoomar’ as a sports film. For me, it is a very inspirational film which is all from the heart.”
Apart from Abhishek, Sayami, Shabana Azmi and Angad Bedi are also in supporting roles in ‘Ghoomar’ directed by R Balki. Amitabh Bachchan has played a cameo role in it.
You can watch Ishaan Khattar’s film ‘Pippa’ on Amazon Prime Video from November 10, 2023. Apart from Ishaan, it also stars Mrinal Thakur and Priyanshu Painyuli.
The film is a first-hand account of the Battle of Garibpur during the India-Pakistan War of 1971, a battle that was pivotal in Bangladesh’s struggle for independence.
Describing his character in the film, Ishaan had said, “It is an honor to play the part of Pippa and I am grateful to the makers for trusting me to play the role of Captain Balram Singh Mehta, whose courage saved India from a deadly conflict. Helped us to win the war.”
Mrunal said, “When I read the script and learned more about my character Radha in the story, I was immediately attracted to her. What I like about her is that she has a fire inside her, she is deeply patriotic and is willing to do anything for the interest of her country.
The web series ‘Rainbow Rishta’ will stream on Prime Video from November 7. The series deals with the love lives of six people: Trinetra Halder, Aishwarya Ayushmann, Daniela Mendonca, Aneez Saikia, Sanam Choudhary, Soham Sengupta, Suresh Ramdas and Sadam Hanjabam. The six-part documentary is directed by Jaideep Sarkar.
