According to media reports, Pamela used to interfere a lot when Salim-Javed were preparing the script of Trishul. Pamela had objections to several scenes in the film. That’s why he asked Salim-Javed to rewrite them. According to reports, Salim-Javed had to rewrite several scenes due to Pamela’s objection, due to which the film took over 40 days to complete.

Salim-Javed had a habit of working on their own terms. Despite this, both of them accepted all the changes suggested by Pamela without any objection. However, both the authors had something else going on in their mind. According to media reports, both the authors wrote to Editor B.R. Together with Mangeshkar, a song sung by Pamela was removed from the film. Director Yash was quite surprised to see the final cut of Trishul without wife Pamela’s song. He asked the editor the reason behind it, to which he replied that the film would get longer because of this song. No one knows anything about the title and lyrics of this song sung by Pamela. However, another song ‘Ja Ri Behna Ja’ sung by Pamela was included in Trishul.
