Some time back, Jitendra Kumar’s first look from the third season of Amazon Prime Video’s hit series Panchayat was released. In the photo, the actor, who plays the role of Panchayat Secretary in the show, is seen riding a motorcycle with a bag on his back.
It was told in some reports that ‘Panchayat Season 3’ directed by Deepak Kumar Mishra is going to be released on January 26, 2024. However, nothing like this happened. The series was not released on this day.
Latest reports have revealed that Panchayat 3 is expected to release in March 2024. There has been no official confirmation yet. But if the news is true then it will be released on Prime Video between 12 and 12:30 in the night.
Jitendra Kumar revealed in an interview that in TVF, they make the kind of shows that they want to watch. Malgudi Days is one of them. So he thought that he should make a show in some village of today.
The second season of TVF’s Panchayat won the Best Web Series (OTT) award at the 54th edition of the International Film Festival of India (IFFI) held recently.
It was earlier reported that Amazon Prime Video indicated that Panchayat Season 3 will be available for streaming on January 15. However this did not happen. There is constant confusion regarding the release date of the series.
Sanvika was seen in the role of Rinki in ‘Panchayat’ season 2. Secretary ji and Rinki became friends in this season. However, suspense remains on whether their past romance will start in the third season or not.
Apart from Jitendra Kumar, there are Raghubir Yadav, Neena Gupta, Sanvika, Chandan Roy, Durgesh Kumar, Ashok Pathak, Faisal Malik and Sunita Rajwar in the Panchayat. Fans will get to see some new faces in the new season.
