Parineeti Chopra and AAP (Aam Aadmi Party) MP Raghav Chadha will take seven rounds of Agni on September 24. While the festivities will begin in Udaipur from September 23, pre-wedding celebrations have already begun in Delhi. On September 20, a Sufi night was hosted by the bride and groom for their close friends and family at Raghav’s New Delhi residence. This event took place after his prayer.

Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chadha are getting married this weekend. The couple started their pre-wedding festivities with Ardaas. Parineeti and Raghav were seen in light pink at the function. Ardaas is a Sikh ritual and a part of the worship service at a Gurudwara. This is a Sikh prayer that is said before or after performing any important task.

Meanwhile, last night, Parineeti and Raghav hosted a Sufi performance for their guests. Various musicians mesmerized the wedding processionists during the Sufi night. Reportedly, the event also featured popular Bollywood songs played by a live band. Reports say that the songs played on the eventful night were ‘Tumhein Dilgi Bhool Jani Padegi’ and ‘Jatt Yamla Pagla Deewana’ among others. Many videos of guests outside Kapurthala House in New Delhi are going viral on the internet.

Priyanka Chopra’s mother and brother Madhu Chopra and Siddharth Chopra were seen attending the gala night. Parineeti Chopra’s parents also posed for her father. Harbhajan Singh, who is Raghav Chaddha and Pari’s friend, was also seen at the venue. Designer Pawan Sachdeva and Fashion Design Council of India president Sunil Sethi also attended the musical night.

Parineeti-Raghav’s wedding details

Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chadha’s wedding will take place on September 24 in Udaipur. While most of the ceremonies will take place at the Leela Palace in Udaipur, the venue for the wedding ceremony will be the Taj Lake. Amidst the pre-wedding festivities, it was reported that the couple would have a Punjabi menu, as both the bride and groom are Punjabi. Since the wedding is in Udaipur, local Rajasthani cuisine will also be served to the guests.

Reports also suggest that the theme of the entire wedding will be nostalgia. Starting from the Sangeet ceremony, all the ceremonies will be based on the same theme. Parineeti and Raghav’s music will take the guests back to the evergreen tunes of the 90s.

The groom is expected to arrive at the venue not on a horse, but on a boat! The couple has also planned some tourism activities for their guests. Security is going to be tight at their wedding.

Parineeti and Raghav’s wedding celebrations will begin on September 23 with Parineeti’s choora ceremony at 10 am, followed by a welcome lunch from 12-4 pm. The families, as well as the bride and groom, will be partying from 7 pm onwards and the theme is ‘Let’s party like the 90s’. The celebrations of the big day will begin on 24th September.
