In an interview with a portal, Siddharth Anand talked about Pathan’s religion, ‘It is a synergy that Abbas, Sridhar, Adi and I, it is all four of us, not all three of us. All four of us share the same beliefs and the same movies that we adore, we grew up on and believe in and the cinema that we believe in. He also said, ‘None of us look down on it, none of us say it’s cheap. We all come up with, ‘Oh that’s a great idea and then he became a Pathan because of this and now he doesn’t have any religion, he only cares about his country. It is a synergy of like-minded people who give each other confidence.
About ‘Pathan’
Shahrukh Khan, Deepika Padukone and John Abraham have come together for the first time in ‘Pathan’. The film is written and directed by Siddharth Anand and bankrolled by Yash Raj Films. It is the fourth part in the YRF Spy Universe and marks the comeback film of Khan after ‘Zero (2018)’. The film released on January 25, 2023 with dubbed versions in Tamil and Telugu.
Salman Khan also saw a cameo in the film. In the film, Shah Rukh Khan is seen as a RAW field agent named ‘Pathan’. John Abraham plays the villain, while Salman Khan is reprising his role as Tiger from the Tiger franchise. The music of ‘Pathan’ is given by Vishal-Shekhar.
