‘Pathan’ created history, entered 1000 crore club on 27th day, ‘Boycott people’ kept shaking hands

Pathan Box Office Collection Day 27: Directed by Siddharth Anand, ‘Pathan’ collected Rs 1.25 crore nett in the country from the Hindi version on Monday, the 27th day, while it earned Rs 4 crore worldwide. With this, Yash Raj’s spy-action film has made a total net collection of Rs 516.92 crore in the country. Out of this, Rs 493.55 crore has been collected from Hindi version, while it has earned Rs 23.37 crore from Tamil, Telugu version in 27 days. While ‘Pathan’ has collected a gross collection of Rs 623 crore in 27 days in the country, it has earned Rs 377 crore from overseas.

The film continues to hold strong at the box office despite two new releases namely ‘Shehzada’ and ‘Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania’. The way the film is still earning crores every day in the country, it is expected that it will soon touch the Rs 500 crore mark in the country in the Hindi version as well. ‘Pathan’ is the highest-grossing film in the country after ‘Bahubali 2’ in the Hindi version. ‘Bahubali 2’ did a lifetime collection of Rs 510.56 crore from the Hindi version in the country.

This super success of ‘Pathan’ is truly the real victory of any film. This is because it is basically a Hindi film, which did not get much benefit from its release in Tamil-Telugu. Along with this, it has not been released in any other local language abroad. Not only this, the way the film’s boycott was demanded on social media before the film’s release, theaters were ransacked after the release, ‘Pathan’ has now stopped everyone’s talk due to the speed of its earnings. Another interesting thing is that all the top-5 films in the list of highest grossers were released on one or the other holiday. While ‘Pathan’ did release on January 26, but instead of January 26, it released on January 25 and there was no holiday on that day.
Earning can be beneficial due to ‘Pathan Week’
The makers of ‘Pathan’ have still kept their expectations from the film. Multiplex chains like PVR, Cinepolis and Inox are running ‘Pathan Week’ across the country and till Thursday all tickets cost Rs 110. While the ticket price has been kept at Rs 200 on weekends. The good thing is that both the films ‘Shehzada’ and ‘Ant Man 3’ bombed at the box office. In such a situation, ‘Pathan’ has a good chance to earn even in less screens.
