Pathans magic continues in Bengal, all shows full till now, distributors happy

Pathan, the first Hindi film released after 2009 in the country of Bengal, has revealed the mania of Hindi films of the people there. Pathan, which released two days ago, has proved to be the most successful Hindi film ever. Displayed on 48 screens, 200 shows of this film are running daily, all of which are houseful. There is tremendous craze regarding the advance of this film which is running housefull continuously for the last two days. The special thing is that this is the first successful Hindi film to be released in Bangladesh.

Earlier in 2009, Salman Khan’s film Wanted was released there, but it was shelved soon due to controversies. It has been 52 years since Bangladesh became independent, but foreign films are still not released there. According to the Times of India, a local distributor said that all tickets for Pathan have been sold out in advance for the first two days.

Earlier in Bangladesh, foreign films were banned to increase and protect the local industry. However, this year the government of Bangladesh decided that now 10 foreign films will be commercially released in the country.

Before Pathan, Salman Khan’s film Wanted was also released in Bangladesh. At that time, the government of Bangladesh had given some relaxation in the rule. However, a local cinema association protested against the film’s release. Then Wanted was pulled from the 50 theaters in which it had been running for a week.
