After a continuous softening in the prices of crude, a sharp rise was seen today. Crude oil has become costlier than $1 in the global market. However, oil prices remain stable even today in the four metros of the country like Delhi-Mumbai. According to government oil companies, petrol has fallen by 22 paise to Rs 50 per litre. Petrol became cheaper by 18 paise at Rs 96.26 a liter in Ghaziabad today, while diesel became cheaper by 17 paise at Rs 89.45 a litre. Petrol rose by six paise to Rs 97.10 per liter in Gurugram today, while diesel by five paise to Rs 89.96 per liter.
Talking about crude oil, there is a rise in its prices in the last 24 hours. The price of Brent crude has increased by about $ 1 to $ 72.70 per barrel. The rate of WTI is also moving higher today at $ 68.77 per barrel.

Petrol in Delhi is Rs 96.65 and diesel is Rs 89.82 per liter
Petrol in Mumbai costs Rs 106.31 and diesel costs Rs 94.27 per liter
Petrol in Chennai is Rs 102.63 and diesel is Rs 94.24 per liter
Petrol in Kolkata costs Rs 106.03 and diesel costs Rs 92.76 per liter
Rates changed in these cities
Petrol in Lucknow has become Rs 96.35 and diesel Rs 89.55 per liter.
Petrol in Ghaziabad has become Rs 96.26 and diesel Rs 89.45 per litre.
Petrol has become Rs 97.10 and diesel Rs 89.66 per liter in Gurugram.
New rates are released everyday at 6 am
There is a change in the prices of petrol and diesel every day at 6 am. The new rates come into effect from 6 am. After adding excise duty, dealer commission, VAT and other things to the price of petrol and diesel, its price becomes almost double of the original price. This is the reason why the prices of petrol and diesel are visible so high.
