PKL 10: Tamil Thalaivas register stunning win against Telugu Titans

Bengaluru. There was a tough fight between Tamil Thalaivas and Telugu Titans in Pro Kabaddi League Season 10 on Wednesday. Thalaivas played their cards to the fullest in the final stages of the game and eventually won 38-36.

Narendra scored maximum 10 points for Thalaivas. Meanwhile, Pawan Sehrawat and Robin Choudhary scored 7 points each for Titans.

Ajit Pawar tackled Narendra and Titans were ahead 3-1 in the third minute. The Titans’ defense performed brilliantly and maintained the lead of 6-4 in the 7th minute. Narendra tried to change the pace, but could not find a way to score consistent raid points.

Robin Choudhary supported his team’s defense unit with some raid points as the Titans led 10-8 in the 11th minute.

However, Narendra and Ajinkya Pawar got one raid point each and helped Thalaivas level the score at 12-12. The Tamil Nadu team picked up the pace and reduced the Titans to just one man on the mat. But, Sanjeevi S played a brilliant raid to remove Sagar and Ajinkya Pawar and kept the Titans in the contest.

However, Thalaivas continued to put pressure on their opponents and were all out just before the break. At the end of the first half, Tamil Nadu was leading 20-17.

Sehrawat leveled the score at 20-20 by hitting a brilliant raid in the initial minutes of the second half. After this there was a close contest between the two teams and in the 26th minute both the teams were tied at 22-22. Sehrawat tried to jump over the defenders, but Sahil Gulia made a brilliant tackle to give Thalaivas a 25-24 lead in the 32nd minute.

In the 37th minute, Pawar hit a brilliant double-point raid, giving Thalaivas a four-point lead at 32-28. But the Titans made a super tackle and never trailed by more than 31-32. However, Thalaivas sealed the deal with an all-out in the last minute of the match.
