Playing roles like John Abraham will prove to be a boon for my career: Sahil Uppal – Dainik Savera Times

Mumbai: Actor Sahil Uppal wants to do a mafia character and a lot of action and martial arts roles. The actor said that playing a role on the lines of action stars like Vidyut Jammwal, John Abraham will be a blessing for his acting career. Sahil said, ‘As an actor, I feel happy to start my career from the TV screen. I think it is the most difficult medium. When we are shooting for films and web, we get the script and get time to prepare ourselves accordingly.

He said, ‘We also get a chance to practice on the sets before filming. But on TV, we get our scripts the same day we reach the set and we get very little time to prepare. TV shows generally run for a long time whereas OTT and movies are time bound. Earlier, I was continuously shooting for TV shows and when I got ‘Fuh Se Fantasy Season 2’, it was a new experience and break for me.

Sahil said: ‘I am happy to make a comeback on TV with ‘Pandya Store’ and in future I want to explore new opportunities in different shades on different mediums. I am expected to play a mafia character and do all the action involving guns and martial arts. The roles of Vidyut Jamwal, John Abraham and others will be a blessing for my acting.

The actor, who is currently seen in ‘Fuh Se Fantasy’ season 2, revealed that he was nervous about shooting intimate scenes for the series. Sahil said, ‘I am a shy person. I was quite nervous about shooting intimate scenes, because I had not done any such scene before in my career. Sahil made his acting debut in 2014 with ‘PS I Hate You’, later did films like ‘Ek Shringaar Swabhiman’ and ‘ Gained popularity by playing lead roles in family dramas like ‘Pinjra Khoobsurati Ka’.
