Politics became active in Canadian Singer Shubh case! Punjab MP supported the rapper, said- you do not need to prove your patriotism

Canadian rapper-singer Shubneet Singh, popularly known by his stage name Shubh, came into controversy due to his controversial social media posts. He had shared a post with a distorted map of India, after which people strongly criticized him. Recently Shubh had a live concert in India but his India tour got canceled after his old post went viral. Shubh became very famous in the last few years after his two-three songs. He also has a lot of popularity in Punjab. After the support of AP Dhillon and Siddu Mooselawa’s team, now the politicians of Punjab have also become quite active in the auspicious matter. After huge protests in India, now the Punjab MP has supported Shubh in the backdrop of diplomatic relations between India and Canada.

Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) MP Harsimat Kaur Badal has supported the artist on Twitter. On the stage he wrote, Singer Shubh, we are standing with you. You don’t need to prove your patriotism because you are a proud son of Punjab and India. Akali Dal appeals to the countrymen not to fall prey to the conspiracies of labeling Shubh and others speaking for Punjab as traitors.

On Friday, AP Dhillon also shared a long note on his social media and asked his fans to maintain harmony. On Instagram, he wrote, “I try to stay away from all the social hysteria because it’s clear to me that no matter what I say or do, it’s a lost cause… Someone, somewhere is trying to turn this story around. Going to do.” Their choices create more division. As an artist, it has become almost impossible to stay focused on your art and do what you love. I try to be considerate of everyone’s feelings but it’s reached a point where we have to second and third guess our every move for fear of inadvertently fostering more division.”

“Spread love not hate. Let’s start thinking for ourselves and don’t let hateful influences overshadow our beliefs. We are all one. Let’s not let man made social constructs divide us. Division has brought us to this point But unity is the key.”

Shubh released a statement following the cancellation of his Still Rollin’ Tour in India. The statement said, “And Punjab is my soul, Punjab is in my blood. Whatever I am today is because of being a Punjabi. Punjabis do not need to give proof of patriotism. At every turn of history, Punjabis have Has sacrificed his life.” Living for the freedom of this country. Therefore, my humble request is that you should avoid labeling every Punjabi as a separatist or anti-national.
