Prashant Neels Prabhas-starrer Salaar shot on location of James Bond film

Hyderabad. ‘KGF’ director Prashanth Neil is shooting for Prabhas starrer ‘Salar’ at multiple locations so that people like it very much. In March the team changed its location to Matera, which is in the south of Italy. The place is famous for its prehistoric whitewashed caves. This is where the film is being shot. ‘Salar’ is written and directed by Prashant Neel and produced by Vijay Kiragandur’s Hombale Films.

The 2021 James Bond film ‘No Time to Die’ was shot in Matera itself. Many other international films have also been shot here.

Unit sources said the ‘Salar’ production has now shifted to Naples, where filming is underway at the southern port city’s central Piazza del Plebiscito plaza.

Local police are helping to build the set, which includes the use of drones and lights for night shoots. Besides Matera and Naples, other ‘Salar’ locations include Rome and Budapest.

As per sources, Prabhas will be seen playing a double role in the pan-India film.

While plot details are yet to be revealed, ‘Salar’ is said to be about two youths from different countries who fall in love despite distance and cultural differences and overcome many challenges.

The first installment of the thriller will release internationally on September 28 in Telugu and dubbed versions in Kannada, Tamil, Malayalam, Hindi and English.(IANS)
