The second season of Priyanka Chopra and Richard Madden starrer ‘Citadel’ has been confirmed. It was announced by Prime Video on Thursday, 25 May. The second version of the global hit series has been renewed. Russo is set to direct every episode and executive producer David Neill is returning as showrunner. The announcement comes about a month after the release of the first season of Citadel. Priyanka Chopra played Agent Nadia Singh in the show, who according to the file is dead. Although he is alive, his memory has been erased. She is forced to remember all this because her memory holds the details that will help her and Richard Madden save the world. Information about when this show will come, has not been revealed yet.
Indian version of ‘Citadel’
Meanwhile, the Indian version of ‘Citadel’ is also being made. It stars Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Varun Dhawan in lead roles. It will be directed by ‘The Family Man’ directors Raj and DK. While not much is known about ‘Citadel India’ as of now, Priyanka Chopra recently revealed that the stories are intertwined. He had said, ‘Raj and DK are so amazing and talented and they will bring their own spin to the Indian version.’
