Producer of Swatantra Veer Savarkar invites Rahul, Sonia and Priyanka Gandhi for special screening

The invitation by producer Anand Pandit and filmmaker Sandeep Singh to the leaders of the Indian National Congress Party – Rahul Gandhi, Sonia Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra has sparked a debate about the conflict between the ideology and principles of the party. With time, rumors have started spreading in the invitations.

While the Indian National Congress Party maintained a secular and balanced approach in opposition to British rule, Veer Savarkar’s intense resentment towards the oppressive British rule was quite the opposite.

The methods adopted by Vinayak Damodar Savarkar to fight the British challenged the system and were completely contrary to the principles of the then Indian National Congress Party, which chose to oppose the British within the system. It is this historical paradox that the film aims to highlight, and thus, he has invited Rahul Gandhi, Sonia Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra to witness the historic movement started by Veer Savarkar.

Randeep Hooda is playing the role of Vinayak Damodar Savarkar in the film and this is his first film as a director. The film Swatantra Veer Savarkar is presented by Zee Studios, Anand Pandit Motion Pictures, Legend Studios, Awak Films and Randeep Hooda Films. The film is produced by Zee Studios, Anand Pandit, Sandeep Singh, Yogesh Rahar and Randeep Hooda, and co-produced by Roopa Pandit, Sam Khan, Anwar Ali and Panchali Chakraborty.

Swatantra Veer Savarkar is released in theaters on March 22, 2024.
