Rajinikanth and Ravi Teja will clash at the box office in Valentines week.

The year 2024 has had a great start at the cinema box office. More or less all the films released in the month of January earned well. Of the films released in January, all except Merry Christmas were from South India. The Hindi-language film Mary Christmas faced failure, while the South Indian films Guntur Karam, Hanu Man and Captain Miller were successful, making around Rs 400 crore at the box office. On the other hand, Hrithik Roshan’s Fighter, made in Hindi language, which was released on January 25, has managed to earn more than Rs 150 crore at the Indian box office, doing a business of more than Rs 250 crore globally.

Now the big curtain is ready for the coming month of February. Films of two big South superstars are going to be released in February.

This is how the year 2024 started

Even in the month of January 2024, films like Guntur Karam and Hanuman won the hearts of fans. The collections of both the films testify to this. On one hand, Mahesh Babu’s film Guntur Karam has earned more than 250 crores worldwide, on the other hand, if we talk about Teja Sajja’s Hanuman, this film has also earned more than 250 crores at the box office, whereas this film Mahesh Babu ‘s film has been released later.

South’s biggest superstar Rajinikanth’s ‘Lal Salaam’ is going to release in February. Rajinikanth’s role in this film is an extended cameo which fans are eager to see since the year 2023. Along with this, Ravi Teja’s ‘Eagle’ is coming on February 9, 2024. Earlier this film was to be released in January which was later postponed to February 9. The release date of both the films is the same, due to which it will be very interesting to see which film earns how much at the box office.
