The prequel of the film is going to give a lot of surprises to the audience. Even the genre of the film will be very different. Due to avoiding the question of Rajinikanth being in the film or not, it is believed that Rajinikanth may be a part of this film. The Kantara star has neither denied nor confirmed the news of Rajinikanth’s association with the film Kantara. In such a situation, it is possible that Rajinikanth will be seen in the prequel of Kantara. Interestingly, after Kantara, Rajinikanth himself also patted Rishab Shetty on the back.

Rishabh Shetty has clarified that Kantara 2 will be a prequel and not a sequel. That is, the story before the start of this film is going to be shown in the second part of the film.
