Rakhi had made many dirty allegations against Sherlyn while supporting Sajid Khan. Sherlyn filed a complaint against Sawant at Amboli police station under Indian Penal Code sections 354A, (unwanted physical contact amounting to sexual assault or solicitation of sexual intercourse by showing pornography), 509 (word, gesture or act intended to outrage the modesty of a woman) act) and 504 (inciting breach of the peace) and an FIR was lodged under provisions of the Information Technology Act.
