Rakhi Sawant marriage row: Police moves sessions court, Adil Khan was arrested on February 7

Mumbai Police has moved a sessions court here after a magistrate refused to hand over actress Rakhi Sawant’s husband Adil Durrani to their custody in an alleged domestic violence case. In a review petition filed in the Dindoshi court, the police said medical examination of the accused was required as he was an accused under section 377 (unnatural sex) of the Indian Penal Code.

Rakhi Sawant filed a complaint with the police accusing Durrani of assaulting her, eloping with jewelery from her flat without her knowledge and having unnatural sex with her. After this, Adil Durrani was arrested on 7 February.

Rakhi Sawant made these allegations against her husband

The actress initially lodged an FIR with allegations of assault and absconding with money and jewellery. Later, in his statement, Sawant also charged Durrani under section 377. Durrani was produced before a magistrate court on February 7, which rejected the police’s request for remand and sent him to judicial custody. At the same time, in another related development, on Tuesday, advocates Ashok Sarogi and Jai Yadav, representing Sawant, opposed Durrani’s bail application in the magistrate’s court.

Iranian student made serious allegations against Adil

Let us tell you that recently a new FIR was registered against Rakhi Sawant’s husband Adil Khan in Mysore. A girl student from Iran had filed a rape case against Adil at Mysore’s VV Puram police station under section 376 of the IPC. In the FIR, the Iranian woman had accused Adil of raping her on the pretext of marriage when they lived together in Mysore. When he asked her to marry him five months ago, she refused. He said that he is in similar relationship with many girls. Then he threatened and then blackmailed her by showing her private photos and pictures that she should not file any complaint against him. Now FIR has been registered under sections 376, 417,420, 504 and 506 of IPC.
