Ranji Trophy: Maharashtra leads over Jharkhand due to centuries of Jadhav and Pawan

Uttar Pradesh’s struggle against Bengal continues
In the Group B match being played in Kanpur, Nitish Rana kept Uttar Pradesh’s hopes alive against Bengal by scoring unbeaten 47 runs. Samarth Singh (54) and Aryan Juyal (42) could not convert their good starts into big scores. Rana batted aggressively, due to which Uttar Pradesh scored 178 runs for four wickets in its second innings and took a lead of 50 runs. Uttar Pradesh team was out for 60 runs in the first innings, in response to which Bengal scored 188 runs.
Chhattisgarh tightened its grip on Bihar
In Patna, Chhattisgarh has tightened its grip on Bihar. In response to Bihar’s 108 runs, Chhattisgarh declared its first innings over after scoring 329 runs for two wickets. From his side, Rishabh Tiwari (138) and Ashutosh Singh (134 not out) scored centuries. By the end of the third day’s play, Bihar had scored 154 runs for three wickets in its second innings. In the second innings, Babul scored 52 runs and Sarman scored 60 runs. His team is currently 77 runs behind Chhattisgarh.
