RARKPK passed in Monday test, earned over 53 crores, got the title of hit

‘Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani’ releases in theaters on July 28. According to a report, the film has done a business of 7.50 crores on the fourth day i.e. Monday. Crowds of people thronged the theatres. The special thing is that despite not being a holiday, the film’s craze continued. This can be considered as good earning.

Now the total collection of the film has gone up to Rs 53.40 crore. It collected 11.1 crores on the first day of release, 16.05 crores on the second day and 19 crores on the third day. The film is made in a budget of Rs 160 crores. Apart from Ranveer-Alia, Dharmendra, Shabana Azmi and Jaya Bachchan have also played important roles in this multistar film. The film has been released on more than 3200 screens across the country.

On Sunday, Dharma Productions shared the box office collections of the film on social media. “The celebration of love gets even bigger at the box office – Your love for Rocky and Rani’s love story is unstoppable!” the production house captioned the post on Twitter. In the film, Ranveer plays the character of Rocky, a fitness freak who belongs to a Punjabi family, while Alia’s character, Rani, is a journalist from a Bengali family. Everyone associated with the film is very happy that ‘Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani’ (RARKPK) has received a good response from the audience. This happiness is even more because the film industry was going through a crisis for 2-3 years due to Kovid-19. Very few people were turning to theatres/cinemas. This movie has once again breathed life into the people associated with the film industry and Bollywood. Meanwhile, actress Alia Bhatt, who plays ‘Rani Chatterjee’ in the film, thanked everyone on Instagram.

Alia posted a photo with her co-star Ranveer Singh and director Karan Johar. Both Ranveer and Alia were seen twinning in white while Karan sported an orange t-shirt at the back. All three of them smiled in front of the camera and posed holding each other. “Love hai toh sab hai!!! From the bottom of my heart… Thank you for your love… Always grateful! Love, Rocky, Rani and our makers this story,” Alia captioned it. He also added the title of the film to the hashtag.
