Mumbai Regarding her character Indrani Kothari in ‘Karma Calling’, actress Raveena Tandon revealed that she took tips from her daughter Rasha for her glamorous look in the show.

Indrani Kothari, the queen of Alibaug played by Raveena, is glamorous and dazzling in every way, but no one knows who is behind creating this ideal character on screen.

Talking about it, Raveena said, the most challenging but important part of playing the character of Indrani Kothari was to portray her glamorous outlook. All those things are extraordinary and larger than life. We had over 50 look tests and costume trials before we decided on her final look.

The actress shares, ‘As a team we needed to be confident about how Indrani would dress and look. From the classy make-up, hair and colorful shiny outfits, the grandeur of Indrani Kothari’s character had to be reflected.

The ‘Mohra’ fame actress spoke about how director Ruchi Narayan and producer Ashutosh had a keen eye for detail and went through every look test to get the right look for Indrani.

He said, ‘There is no one better than Indrani in her world. I also took some tips from my daughter Rasha to fit into the trendy, stylish and bright outfits worn by Indrani.

The series ‘Karma Calling’ features Indrani Kothari (Raveena Tandon), the queen of Alibaug, who is set to take on Karma Talwar (Namrata) as the secrets are dark and the stakes are high.

Produced by R.A.T Films, directed by Ruchi Narayan, the series stars Raveena, Namrata Seth, Varun Sood along with Gaurav Sharma, Waluscha D’Souza, Amy Ella, Viraf Patel, Piyush Khati in lead roles.

It is scheduled to release on January 26 on Disney Plus Hotstar.
