Material :
Paneer – 250 grams
Tomato – 4
Kashmir red chilli – 1 tsp
Cumin – 1/2 tsp
Fennel – 1 tsp
Dry ginger powder – 1/2 tsp
Red chilli powder – 1/2 tsp
Turmeric – 1/2 tsp
Desi ghee – 1 tsp
Black cardamom – 1
Green cardamom – 2
Bay leaf – 1
Green coriander chopped – 2 tbsp
Oil
Salt – as per taste
Method:
- First of all cut the cheese into square pieces. After this, add some oil in a pan and fry the paneer.
- Now heat water in a big vessel and add turmeric powder to it, add fried paneer and keep it aside.
- After this, take tomato and cut it into pieces. Prepare a paste by putting tomato pieces in the mixer and take it out in a bowl.
- Now grind the standing spices. Put ghee in a pan and heat it on medium flame.
- After the ghee melts, add bay leaves, cumin and crushed spices and fry.
- After frying for 1-2 minutes, mix tomato paste and other spices in the spices and fry while stirring with a ladle.
- After frying for 2-3 minutes, add half a cup of water and boil the puree.
- Meanwhile, take out the paneer from the water and add it to the tomato puree and boil for 2 to 3 minutes.
- Kashmiri Paneer is ready. Add chopped coriander to it and serve it with paratha, naan or roti.
